I'm not very familiar with composting, so I've been using this as a chance to teach myself also! Unfortunately, a lot of the "kid friendly" information seems to conflict with the basic composting 101 information out there. I've found a few good v...

I'd like to introduce a culture lesson every once in a while for my fifth and sixth graders, and I was wondering if you all had ideas for a Thanksgiving lesson or for activities. This is definitely not an "English lesson" and more of a culture/break from the usual textbook type lesson. Tech-wise, I'm limited to image slideshows and mp3 files since there's no internet hookup in any of my classrooms. Thanks a bunch!
